May in The Wide Bay Rodders Car Show

When: Sunday, 5 May 2024

Join us in Hervey Bay for the annual May in The Wide Bay Rodders Car Show on Sunday, 5th May 2024, at the Fraser Coast Sports and Recreations Precinct in Nikenbah. Gates open from 9am to 1pm for a day filled with excitement. Enjoy live music and free off-street parking while admiring a spectacular array of vehicles on display. From hot rods to classic cars, Australian and American muscle cars, and vintage motorcycles, there's something for every car enthusiast. Admission is $5 per person or $20 per family (2 adults, 3 children).

Relish Food & Wine Festival

When: Saturday, 1 June 2024.

Join locals and visitors for the popular annual Relish Food & Wine Festival, which will take place at Portside Precinct and Queen's Park. Maryborough's historic streets and scenic riverside parks provide an ideal backdrop for a celebration of local cuisine. Come and enjoy the expertise of celebrity and local chefs, indulge in gourmet tastings, witness cooking demonstrations, and groove to live music. 


Mary Poppins Festival 

When: Sunday, 30 June 2024.

The Fraser Coast's most magical celebration, the Mary Poppins Festival, takes place every year in Maryborough's Portside Precinct. As the heritage-rich streetscapes come to life with all the characters you know and love from Mary Poppins, along with other new and old faces, celebrate the art of storytelling and learn more about the world's most beloved nanny. Come to this four-day, FREE event to celebrate all things Mary Poppins!


Fraser Coast Flavours

When: Saturday, 31 August 2024. 

Join us for the newest festival on the Fraser Coast, featuring music, food, craft beer, artisans, wine & good vibes, taking place at Hervey Bay’s Seafront Oval in Pialba. Come and enjoy two live music stages featuring local and regional artists, two festival bars with breweries and distilleries from across Queensland, street food and market vendors, all-day activities, and a variety of carefully curated ticketed events. Don't miss out on the chance to enjoy the beautiful Hervey Bay sunshine while indulging in some of the finest culinary delights the region has to offer. 


Food n Groove Fridays

When: Returning in October.

Food n Groove Fridays creates the perfect Friday afternoon atmosphere with an excellent spread of food trucks, entertainment, market stalls and licensed bar.

Held on the first Friday of each month from October until February, Food n Groove Fridays takes place at City Park from 4pm. BYO chairs and picnic blankets, no pets, fully licensed - no BYO alcohol.
