COVID-19 Update

The world as we know it has changed and this situation is developing new and unprecedented challenges by the day.

We want to let you know that we are open for business and will welcome any guests who are still able and need to travel to Hervey Bay. As we take the COVID 19 threat seriously, we have put several new measures in place to ensure the health and safety of our occupants, staff and other visitors. If you have ANY questions or concerns, we welcome any calls or emails to help in any way that we can.

We’re here to help, and it’s during times like these that the service and hospitality we pride ourselves on is more important than ever.

The Good News!

As we value your business and most of our guests have been returning to holiday with us for many years, we have been refunding, and will continue to refund any deposits that have been paid if you do need to cancel your stay with us.  Alternatively, we can move your booking to another future date if that would suit you better. If you have booked through one of the online travel agents such as booking.com, expedia.com etc., please cancel the booking through their website and then contact us so we can provide the refund if we have received payment. 

The Not so Good News

If you have travelled overseas – or have been in contact with someone who has -in the last 14 days, we ask that you either cancel  or postpone your travel for a future date.

If you feel at all unwell, please stay safe and stay at home.

If you feel unwell during your stay with us, you must inform us immediately and self-isolate.

NO CASH WILL BE TAKEN from today onwards. Our policy requires balance of accommodation cost to be paid  before arrival. However, if you have not paid and you wish to pay in cash, you MUST pay into our bank account by direct deposit or internet transfer. Our bank details are on the confirmation sent to you. If you do not have this, please contact us for the details.

What we are doing to ensure a safe environment during your stay

We have taken measures for extra sanitising of lift areas, door handles, handrails, reception counter and other common areas surfaces. These processes will continue at regular intervals daily.

New soap dispensers have been added in the BBQ and pool toilet areas and the sauna has been closed.  Extra safety measures have also been taken in the gym with the provision of sanitisers.

Our pool, gym, sauna and BBQ area are closed until further notice. 

Keys will be sanitised after each check-out and any in house compendiums will be removed.

All housekeeping staff have also been given further hospital-grade antibacterial products and implemented additional cleaning procedures on top of our high standard of cleaning already in place.

We have reduced staff hours for Reception but will always be contactable via phone – these hours may have to change in the coming days and weeks

We ask that you call us prior to arrival to arrange a check in time or to arrange a lock box key collection.
